Welcome to Hazeldene Guest House 

Samantha and Steve offer you a very warm welcome to Hazeldene Guest House.  We are conveniently located on Lake Road in Bowness-on-Windermere, with all it's attractions and amenities just a short walk away.

A 10 minute stroll brings you to lake Windermere shore where steamers can take you on trips around England's largest lake and one of the Lake District's most popular visitor destinations. Guided tours, museums, historic houses, the Beatrix Potter Experience, hiking, off road experiences, water sports, spa and leisure facilities are all available locally. With an excellent selection of shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and a cinema right on the doorstep, you can leave the car at the guest house, relax and enjoy the atmosphere and the town's delightful setting.

Our guest house has 5 en-suite rooms for you to choose from and we have private parking spaces available to guests included in the room price. Breakfast is served between 8.15 am and 9 am and we offer a selection of cold and hot choices. More details can be found on our Breakfast page.

• Access to all areas of the guest house is via steps/stairs and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility
• Hazeldene Guest House operates a strict no-smoking policy
• We do not accept hen/stag parties or pets
• Hazeldene Guest House is exclusively for adults only (no young people under 18 years of age)

Steve and Samantha have spent many years looking after and catering for guests on board sailing yachts and now look forward to offering the same quality service at Hazeldene Guest House - without having to eat at a 45 degree angle in blowing winds !
